Our Responsibility as Adults

It is our responsibility as adults to do all we can to prevent the sexual abuse of children of all ages (birth to 17 years of age).

It is also our responsibility as adults to look for and notice the signs & symptoms of a child that is being sexually abused.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY!

It Shouldn’t Hurt to be a Child

One thing we should never allow ourselves to become desensitized to is the sexual abuse of children. It’s a rampant crime. It’s talked about more often & openly than it was even 10 years ago, which is good. However, all of this can potentially lead to desensitization if we are not careful. We cannot let that happen.

These violations against children happen to real children of all ages. Each and every child matters…and they need our help. If we are not disgusted by the crime of child sexual abuse & those who perpetrate it, something is wrong. If we are not angry at what innocent children are going through due to these sexual predators, then something is very wrong.

We must act. We must fight for the children. We must be their voice.
